LAUREL, Miss. — Sanderson Farms Inc. has reported results for its second fiscal quarter and six months ended April 30, 2018.
Net sales for the second quarter of fiscal 2018 were $813.5 million compared with $802 million for the same period a year ago. For the quarter, net income was $41.9 million, or $1.84 per share, compared with net income of $67 million, or $2.95 per share, for the second quarter of fiscal 2017.
Net sales for the first six months of fiscal 2018 were $1.6 billion compared with $1.5 billion for the same period. . .
