NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. — Recently, Chipotle Mexican Grill announced that it would be bringing back its Chipotle Honey Chicken, which quickly became a fan favorite after its 2025 debut as the brand’s best-performing limited-time offer.

The protein will be available in restaurants across the U.S., Canada, the U.K., France and Germany beginning April 28, Chipotle said in the announcement.

The protein is made with freshly grilled chicken, marinated with smoky chipotle peppers and finished with a touch of pure honey, delivering a bold and balanced flavor.

“Chipotle Honey Chicken set a new standard for our limited-time offerings, and guests started asking for it back almost immediately,” Stephanie Perdue, Chipotle interim chief marketing officer, said. “It’s proof that when we get flavor and timing right, we create something fans can’t stop thinking about.”

Chipotle honey, or any variation of a sweet and spicy flavor mix, has become increasingly popular in food trends. It can be found on almost any menu or social media feed.

However, Chipotle claims to be different. They bring this bold flavor to life with real ingredients, freshly prepared and made without artificial colors, flavors or preservatives, Chipotle noted.

When the protein launched in 2025, it delivered the highest order rates of any limited-time offering in Chipotle’s history, the company added.

In addition to the protein returning to the menu, guests can also order it in Chipotle’s High Protein Cup, a new way to customize your order.

This menu update is just another step in Chipotle’s menu innovation, the company says, adding that this year has also seen the return of Chicken al Pastor and the introduction of Cilantro Lime Sauce.

To celebrate this return, Chipotle is offering a $0 delivery fee on Chipotle Honey Chicken orders placed through the Chipotle app, Chipotle.com and Chipotle.ca from April 28 through May 11, the company added.
