China reopens trade deals for U.S. beef imports

Since 2004, China has not accepted U.S. beef imports but in May, 12, 2017, the USDA announced that this hiatus in trade has ended.

U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue hailed the agreement as tremendous news for the agriculture industry and the economy as a whole and was certain that the Chinese market would appreciate the high-quality U.S. beef.
