Tyson settles EEOC disability discrimination lawsuit

ST. LOUIS – Tyson Foods Inc. will pay $35,000 and furnish other relief to settle a disability discrimination lawsuit filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the agency has announced. The EEOC had charged that Tyson Foods refused to hire a former employee because he had epilepsy.
