MINNEAPOLIS — Taiwan has reported three outbreaks of highly pathogenic H5N8 avian influenza, according to a report from the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy at the University of Minnesota.
The outbreaks, reported to the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) in Paris, occurred in late June and early July and involved 2,874 birds.
