BLOOMINGTON, Ill. — The Illinois Soybean Association (ISA) will host the International Biotechnology Symposium, Aug. 31, at the Doubletree Hotel in Bloomington, Ill.
The goal of the half-day event is to bring together international agricultural stakeholders to discuss the importance of biotechnology trait approval with a focus on the European Union and China.
Speakers and panels who will discuss constraints of biotech trait approvals, cost of delayed approvals, the role of biotech crops in the value chain and importance of biotech crops to global food security.
