Croney heads Purdue Center for Animal Welfare Science

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Purdue University associate professor of animal sciences Candace Croney will head the newly created Purdue University Center for Animal Welfare Science.

Her appointment as director was announced jointly  by Jay Akridge, Glenn W. Sample Dean of the College of Agriculture, and Willie M. Reed, dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine.

Croney, who will work in both colleges, began her new role Feb. 1.
