ST. MARYS, Ga. —I am honored to have been selected to serve as the 2024 board chair for the National Protein and Food Distributors Association (NPFDA).
My road with NPFDA started back in the late 1980s when I was working at Lehar Sales in Oakland, Calif. Lehar Sales was a founding and active member of NPFDA. In the mid-1990s, Lehar’s Bob Gaddini sent me to an Urner Barry Conference in Las Vegas. He called Kristin McWhorter, who was the executive director of NPFDA at the time and asked her to look after his girl. A dear friendship ensued. . .
