Industry leaders meet to ‘Stand Up for Grain Safety’

GAINESVILLE, Ga. — The U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration announces that the Stand Up 4 Grain annual convention will be held this week in Mitchell, S.D., beginning on March 25. South Dakota is also home to the Corn Palace. Since 1892, the Corn Palace has represented the state’s healthy agricultural conditions. The conference will run through March 29, and include the participation of OSHA, the Grain Handling Safety Council, the Grain Elevator and Processing Society, and the National Grain and Feed Association.
