CHICAGO — The American Egg Board recently named Bradd Bosely director of egg innovation. Reporting directly to AEB’s vice president, insights and innovation, Bosely will lead the execution of AEB’s innovation plan, including developing the egg innovation pipeline, building strategic relationships, executing innovation projects, establishing a technical research program and continuing to build the organizational structure and capabilities that allow AEB to spearhead innovation for the industry, the group noted.

Bosely joins the AEB with more than 15 years of experience in food innovation and product development, creating food programs, both domestically and internationally, for private and Fortune 500 companies.

“We are delighted to welcome Bradd to the incredible world of eggs,” said AEB President & CEO Emily Metz. “With his strong culinary background and expertise in new product development, we are confident he will be a tremendous asset in forging a robust innovation pipeline, unique partnerships and bringing exciting new ideas to the market on behalf of the egg industry.”

Bosely comes to AEB from 7-11 Convenience Stores & Speedway where he served as director, concept and innovation. Previously Bosely worked across several channels within the food industry including at Meijer as the head of product development and internal manufacturing, as well as on-site at McDonald’s while at Givaudan Flavor’s.

Celebrating a true farm-to-fork mindset, Bosely holds a culinary research and development degree from Johnson & Wales (Providence, R.I.), and also has deep agriculture roots; he was raised on his family’s farm in Michigan where they have farmed for more than 200 years.
