GREENFIELD, Ind. — Biosecurity, the practice of protecting farm animals from diseases, has become an increasingly important issue as poultry production continues to grow, and with it, the prevalence of disease. Most recently, the threat of H5N1 highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) has raised the stakes on how important biosecurity is to farms and integrators.
