CHICAGO — The Institute of Food Technologists, a worldwide scientific society of individual food scientists and technologists, has unveiled a sweeping new program, FutureFood 2050, to create a broad dialogue on how science will deliver solutions needed to feed the world's 9 billion people by the year 2050.
The 18,000 IFT members are scientists, researchers, technologists and food professionals from 100 countries working in academia, industry and government.
