USPOULTRY Foundation awards recruiting grant to Mississippi State

TUCKER, Ga. — The USPOULTRY Foundation has awarded a $21,957 student recruiting grant to the Poultry Science Department at Mississippi State University. The grant was made possible by an endowing Foundation gift from Sanderson Farms, headquartered in Laurel, Miss.

The check was presented by Pic Billingsley, director of development and engineering for Sanderson Farms and a member of the USPOULTRY board of directors, to Mary Beck, professor and head of the Poultry Science Department. Joining in the presentation were students from the department.
