University of Delaware receives USPOULTRY grant

TUCKER, Ga. — The University of Delaware's Department of Animal & Food Sciences has been awarded a $4,600 student recruiting grant from the USPOULTRY Foundation.

The check was presented by Mike Levengood, vice president of live production for Perdue Farms and USPOULTRY board member, to Robert Alphin, senior instructor and manager of Allen Lab. The grant was made possible by an endowing Foundation gift from Valley Proteins.
