ATHENS, Ga. — On Nov. 11-13, the University of Georgia Department of Poultry Science will be conducting a Cold Weather Management Workshop at Flinchum’s Phoenix, just outside of Athens, Ga.
This 2 ½-day training program has been specifically designed for those who want to learn more about poultry house environmental management during cold weather, organizers noted, adding that the workshop consists of lectures, as well as hands on group exercises designed to help attendees gain a firm understanding of the principles behind cold weather poultry house management.
