WASHINGTON — United Egg Producers have developed four specific position papers on legislative issues and have called on Congress to act on the measures.
The papers outlined UEP's views on (1) the cage-free trend may mean a need for a WIC change, (2) legislation needed on the Waters of the U.S. rulemaking, (3) federal GMO labeling preemption legislation and (4) proposed rule on organic poultry practices.
