WASHINGTON — Pleasant House Bakery LLC of Chicago, Ill., is recalling an undetermined amount of steak and chicken pie products distributed without the benefit of inspection.
These products were also missing the ingredient statement and contained undeclared allergens, including eggs, milk and wheat, USDA’s Food Safety & Inspection Service has announced.
The steak and chicken pie items were produced between Jan. 1, 2014, and Aug. 14, 2015. Recalled products are 10-ounce of individually wrapped product labeled “Steak & Ale Pie” and “Chicken Balti Pie.”
These items were distributed to restaurants and retail establishments in Chicago, Ill. and New Buffalo. . .
