Perdue aims to ‘strike out’ hunger

SALISBURY, Md. — One in seven Americans struggles to get enough to eat. Hunger exists in virtually every community nationwide, including across the Delmarva Peninsula. It’s that reality which drives a partnership with Perdue Farms, the Delmarva Shorebirds and the three Delmarva food banks in the fight against hunger.

On April 15, Perdue Farms and the Delmarva Shorebirds announced the launch of the annual season-long “2016 Perdue Strike Out Hunger Challenge on Delmarva” at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium.
