Greg Hinton, vice president of sales for Rose Acre Farms, is the recipient of the U.S. Poultry & Egg Association’s 2023 Workhorse of the Year award. Jerry Moye, member of the international advisory board at Hendrix Genetics and past USPOULTRY chairman, placed the ceremonial horse collar on Hinton during the award reception on Monday, Jan. 23.

John Starkey, president of the U.S. Poultry and Egg Association, has announced his retirement for 2023. He is joined here at a previous IPPE with his wife, Nancy. A search committee will now begin work looking for his successor, and he will stay with the association in an advisory role through the process.
