WASHINGTON — The National Turkey Federation presented the National Thanksgiving Turkey to President Barack Obama on Nov. 26 from National Turkey Federation Chairman Gary Cooper of Cooper Farms. This marks the 67th presentation to U.S. presidents since 1947 by the National Turkey Federation.
"Tomorrow (Thanksgiving) is a pretty special moment when we give thanks for the people we love, and where we're mindful of the incredible blessings that we have received," said President Obama. "We remember the folks who can't spend their holiday at home, especially the brave men and women in uniform who help keep our country. . .
