IPPE program examines 2nd processing pathogen control

TUCKER, Ga. —U.S. Poultry & Egg Association is hosting a "Poultry: Microbial Control in 2nd Processing" program at the International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) that will present strategies for pathogen control food safety programs in 2nd processing.

Topics may include plant and equipment design and validation, current interventions and the development of new evaluation tools and methods. The half-day program will be held Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015, and is $100 for all registered IPPE attendees.

The program will feature industry specialists, including a presentation by Jill Stuber, quality systems verification manager, GNP Co., on the "Statistical Evaluation. . .
