WASHINGTON — The Coalition for U.S.-Russia Trade has called on Congress to pass legislation that would establish Permanent Normal Trade Relations (PNTR) with Russia.
The coalition, which includes several poultry and egg associations, calls action on establishing PNTR with Russia "the top trade priority on the U.S. business community's legislative agenda this year."
Russia will join the World Trade Organization by mid-2012 and thereby assume the international legal obligations of membership in the world trading system.
