ARCADIA, La. — House of Raeford Farms’ Arcadia, La., division reached 1,339,329 man-hours without a lost time accident, Jan. 1 – Dec. 31, 2021. In addition, the Arcadia hatchery in Gibsland, La., has no recordable injuries and no lost time accidents over the past three consecutive years.
“We place a great deal of emphasis on our monthly safety training programs for all associates,” said Kevin Pittman, safety director for the Arcadia complex. “In addition, our Safety Committee, made up of volunteer line employees, managers, and union representatives, has been trained in the OSHA 510 course; conducts internal plant safety. . .
