Holiday side dishes will be a bit more expensive this year

COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Consumers will pay slightly more this year when they prepare side dishes that make the Thanksgiving meal, a Texas A&M University AgriLife Extension Service specialist said.

There will be some good buys possible this year, but overall, the meal will cost more, said Dr. David Anderson, TAMU AgriLife Extension economist and professor in the Department of Agricultural Economics, Bryan-College Station.
