INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Elanco’s new and modern global headquarters is officially open and up and running for its employees in Indianapolis, Ind.
The company notes that its laboratories are poised to continue their strides in research and innovation, with an “employee-forward design and plenty of collaboration space, that (its) next era is positioned to be amazing,” the company said in its announcement.
“Our new, state-of-the-art innovation center will become home to more than 725 employees based in the Greater Indianapolis area, while simultaneously adding a distinctive landmark to the city’s skyline and riverfront,” Elanco says. “The design of our new global headquarters reflects new concepts of ways of working. It creates a more comfortable, casual work environment and serves as a destination for Elanco’s teams to easily connect, collaborate and ideate.”
This location was established in the OneHealth Innovation District area of Indianapolis. This area was formed through collaboration and partnership with Purdue University and the State of Indiana as a new research hub that is also community focused.
“It will unite corporate innovators, academic researchers, students, investors and government leaders to advance science and inspire innovation,” Elanco said. “The opening of the new Elanco global headquarters is the first of many big moments for the district that will drive innovation and improve lives for decades to come.”
This new facility, the company notes, will include such highlights as modern laboratories; a variety of different types of work spaces which will include an emphasis of areas where the company and customers can collaborate; and featuring collaboration, it has a building designed for hosting global customer events; it has an interior environment with enhanced air quality monitoring and the incorporation of natural daylight; and meets high standards in sustainability in its operation, construction and design.
Moving forward, Elanco added that, “Our new global headquarters is an exciting milestone for Elanco, downtown Indianapolis, and the community. It demonstrates our mutual commitment to making life better for animals, customers, our people and society.”
