GAINESVILLE, Ga. — Wild ducks are being tested to determine if they carry the Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza virus which attacked U.S. commercial poultry earlier this year. However, to date, no signs of HPAI bird flu have turned up.
Tests were being carried out by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources on samples from ducks shot by hunters during the opening of waterfowl season.
