EATONTOWN, N.J. — Diversified Import Products recently expanded its staff by hiring Brad Bowen and Melvyn Traxler.

Bowen will serve as a regional sales manager for portions of Arkansas, Missouri and Oklahoma. With more than 25 years of experience in poultry equipment sales and construction, as well as experience as a pullet and broiler grower for Cobb and George’s respectively, Bowen has the first-hand experience necessary to consult with customers on a variety of issues, the company noted.

“I wanted to be a part of the winning team,” Bowen said about joining the company. “Over the years I’ve learned what products work best, and saw what their products were able to do at my farm. Diversified Imports runs a good business and I’m looking forward to helping growers in each of my territories excel.”

Traxler was rehired to serve as warehouse manager in the company’s Raleigh, Miss., facility. He will also serve as a technical support representative helping customers with equipment installation and repair issues. Traxler was excited to rejoin the company after a brief hiatus, he noted.

“I worked at Diversified Import Products for 13 years and was excited to rejoin the company,” he said. “I like the company and the products, and they’re very positive to work for.”
