ATLANTA — To get the summer started, Chick-fil-A announced the return of multiple fan favorite menu items, continuing its self-proclaimed year of “Newstalgia.”

As of June 8, guests can celebrate the return of the Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich, Pineapple Dragonfruit beverages, and delicious Peach treats.

“This summer is a celebration of the fun, flavors, and experiences our guests love the most and ask us to bring back, year after year,” Khalilah Cooper, Chick-fil-A Inc. vice president of Brand Strategy, Advertising & Media, said in a statement. “That’s what our year of ‘Newstalgia’ is all about — delivering timeless favorites with fresh new twists, allowing a new generation of guests to experience our 80-year heritage in a way that feels new, yet nostalgic, and unmistakably Chick-fil-A.”

The Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich is back for the summer with all of its spicy flavors. Customers can order the sandwich with either the Original or Spicy filet, but the staples of the sandwich are the pimento cheese, mild pickled jalapeños and a drizzle of honey on a toasted bun, Chick-fil-A stated.

For the returning beverages, customers will have multiple refreshing options for the summer. The Pineapple Dragonfruit is available with Sprite, Lemonade, Frosted Lemonade, Iced Tea, or Sunjoy.

According to Chick-fil-A, for most guests, the Peach treats signal the unofficial start of the summer, offering nostalgic flavors with a sweet twist. The Peach milkshake and Peach Frosted Lemonade are now available on the menu for a limited time.

In addition to the return of fan favorites, Chick-fil-A is also welcoming the long-awaited return of Cow Appreciation Day on July 14, reviving the beloved event for guests of all ages, Chick-fil-A noted.

For one day only, customers who visit participating locations dressed in their best cow-inspired attire will earn a free entrée from 7 am until 7 pm, while supplies last. Kids who come in dressed up will receive a new “Cow Kart” toy to celebrate the day, Chick-fil-A added.

This year, Chick-fil-A has been dedicated to delivering a year of “Newstalgia” as a way to celebrate the restaurant’s 80-year anniversary. The campaign serves up beloved classics alongside fresh new twists, fun guest experiences and moments of surprise and delight, Chick-fil-A noted.
