JACKSON, Miss. — Cal-Maine Foods Inc. announced on Dec. 28, 2015, that Michael Ermon has been promoted to vice president of operations. This appointment was approved by the company's board of directors on Dec. 23.
Ermon will have responsibility for Cal-Maine Foods' production and processing facilities located in Farwell and Pittsburg, Texas, and Chase, Kan. He also serves as the company's representative on the operations committee for the Red River Valley Egg Farm joint venture, also located in Texas. He will report directly to Sherman Miller, chief operating officer of Cal-Maine Foods.
