SPRINGDALE, Ark. — Former Arkansas Governor Mike Beebe has been named to the board of directors of Tyson Foods Inc., company officials announced.
Beebe, 68, was appointed and becomes one of eight independent directors on the 10-member Tyson Foods board. He was governor of Arkansas from 2007 to 2015, served as the state’s attorney general from 2003 to 2007 and was a state senator from 1983 to 2003.
