WASHINGTON — Wayne Farms of Decatur, Ala., is recalling approximately 2,320 pounds of frozen honey barbeque chicken wing products because of misbranding and an undeclared allergen, egg, that is not declared on the label.
The products recalled include 4-pound bags of "GFS® Honey BBQ Flavored Chicken Wings" packed in 16-pound cases with the establishment number "P-33885" inside the USDA mark of inspection and a case code of 572160. The products were produced Nov. 28, 2012, and shipped to a foodservice distribution center in Kentucky for distribution at the retail level in Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee.
