SAINT PAUL, Minn. — The open class poultry show returns this year to the Minnesota State Fair to be held Aug. 25 through Labor Day, Sept. 5, 2016.
The return of the show follows the 2015 statewide cancellation of poultry exhibitions due to the outbreak of H5N1 Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza.
On June 3 20, the state fair will begin accepting entries for the 2016 Open Class Lifestock Show, which includes the fair's poultry show. Deadline for the poultry show entry is Aug. 3.
