Various beef and chicken products recalled due to misbranding

WASHINGTON — Gourmet Kitchen Inc. of Neptune, N.J., is recalling approximately 16,722 pounds of various beef and chicken products due to adulteration, misbranding and an undeclared allergen, USDA's Food Safety & Inspection Service has announced. The products contain peanuts, a known allergen which is not declared on the product label, at very low levels posing a remote probability of adverse health consequences from the use of the product.

The ready-to-cook beef and chicken appetizer items were produced on various dates between Oct. 15, 2014 and March 2, 2015.

The products subject to recall bear the establishment. . .
