USPOULTRY announces research on biological nitrogen removal

TUCKER, Ga — U.S. Poultry & Egg Association has announced the completion of a funded research project at the Georgia Institute of Technology regarding an assessment of biological nitrogen removal in poultry processing treatment facilities.

The project, Project  No. 660 conducted by Dr. Spyros Pavlosthathis of Georgia Tech, is part of the association’s comprehensive research program encompassing all phases of poultry and egg production and processing.
