DAKOTA DUNES, S.D. — Tyson Fresh Meats, a subsidiary of Tyson Foods Inc., has closed its beef operations in Denison, Iowa, effective Aug. 14. The move affects 400 jobs.
The company said it is reducing its beef production capacity due to a continued lack of available cattle and to better align its overall production capacity with current cattle supplies.
