Tyson de Mexico donates 45 tons of chicken to Hurrican Odile

GÓMEZ PALACIO, Mexico — Tyson de Mexico donated 45 tons of chicken to Baja California Sur residents affected by Hurricane Odile.

This donation, which is equivalent to 300,000 meals, was delivered Sept. 26 to the Ministry of National Defense in La Paz and distributed to the most vulnerable population.

The social commitment of Mexico Tyson is permanent. During the 2014 fiscal year, in-kind donations totaled 149 tons of chicken, or nearly 1 million meals, distributed through the Mexican Association of Food Banks (AMBA) and other institutions.
