Poultry industry responds to hurricane devastation

GAINESVILLE, GA. — Even as Hurricane Milton was wreaking havoc across central Florida, relief efforts continued from the recent devastation of Hurricane Helene across the southeastern U.S. Helene, which first hit Florida’s Big Bend, traveled through Georgia and devastated North Carolina. The storm claimed the lives of more than 230 people in the region.
