PRESTON, Md. — One of the toughest things manufacturers face when transporting their product is the unknown. What takes place from the time the doors of the trailer close to when the shipment arrives at its destination is anybody's guess. Knowing the actual location of the product or the temperature inside the trailer during transit is sometimes uncertain.
