Texas A&M wins National Poultry Judging Contest

TUCKER, Ga.  — Texas A&M University recently won the 66th U.S. Poultry & Egg Association National Poultry Judging Contest, held at Louisiana State University.

This is their sixth consecutive win, having won first place at the event every year since 2008. Additionally, Michael Clay, a junior at Texas A&M, was announced high individual winner.

The Kansas State University team placed a close second in the team competition, with William Trieb, sophomore, finishing second in the individual category.

USPOULTRY and the USPOULTRY Foundation sponsors the National Poultry Judging Contest as part of its comprehensive student outreach program. . .
