Sanderson Farms recalls product due to possible foreign matter contamination

WASHINGTON — Sanderson Farms in Hazlehurst, Miss., is recalling approximately 551,090 pounds of poultry products that may be contaminated with extraneous metal materials, USDA’s Food Safety & Inspection Service has announced.

The recalled items, produced on Sept. 17-18, 2015, are 70-pound cases containing Young Chicken Parts Jumbo Boneless Skinless Breast Fillets with Rib Meat, Young Chicken Parts Jumbo Clipped Tenderloins, Young Chicken Parts Jumbo Boneless Skinless Breast Butterflies with Rib Meat and Fresh Young Chicken Parts Breast Frames.

The products subject to recall bear the establishment number “EST. P-247” inside the USDA mark of inspection and. . .
