TUCKER, Ga. — In a study funded in part by the U.S. Poultry & Egg Association, the National Academy of Sciences looked at the needs for research and research support for animal agriculture.
The study found that meeting the expected growth in global demand for animal protein will require a greater investment in animal science research. The report identifies research priorities and recommends that governments and the private sector increase their support for this research.
