MINNEAPOLIS — Registration and hotel reservations for attendees to the 2022 Midwest Poultry Federation are open at www.midwestpoultry.com. Exhibitors will be given a different schedule for their registration and hotel reservations and will be emailed details directly by MPF’s exhibits manager.

- The Pre-Show Nutrition and Poultry Health Symposium will be held Tuesday afternoon, March 22.
- Education tracks for turkeys, egg layers, broilers, and processing (all species) will take place across all three days
- of the show (March 22-24).

MPF Unhatched will kick off opening night of the convention on March 22 from 6:30 p.m.– 10 p.m. at the Hilton Minneapolis Hotel. The event is being reincarnated with a more casual vibe perfect for networking and meeting up with colleagues and friends. Tickets will be $50 each and feature a variety of food stations, an open bar, and two musical acts.
“We are ready to welcome our exhibitors and attendees back to the 2022 MPF convention for our 51st year. We are working closely with our partners at the Minneapolis Convention Center and our hotels to provide a safe and secure experience,” said MPF President Scott Waldner, who represents the Chicken and Egg Association of Minnesota on the Board of Directors. “We have missed seeing our colleagues and friends, and we look forward to showing off our new, larger exhibit space, an updated education schedule, and a few other fun surprises.”
Partnering events include the North Central Avian Disease Conference (March 21-22) and the Organic Egg Farmers of America Symposium (March 22) — both events will be held at the Minneapolis Convention Center.
New COVID rules
Effective immediately, the city of Minneapolis has rescinded emergency regulations requiring people entering food and drink establishments to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative test. The end of the mandate comes as COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations are substantially down in Minnesota.
There will be ‘no’ requirement to show proof of vaccination status or negative COVID-19 test when you attend the MPF Convention, including any restaurant, bar, or hotel you frequent while you are at the show.
The requirement in the city of Minneapolis that masks are worn in most public places will remain in effect for now. (As a reminder, this is a mandate from the city of Minneapolis — not from MPF.)
MPF is excited to welcome you back to the convention, March 22-24, and the enthusiasm to get together in-person is palpable! Our expanded Exhibit Hall is nearly sold out, companies are scheduling a myriad of meetings, and registration is increasing on a daily basis.
