Products recalled for possible foreign materials contamination

WASHINGTON — Foster Poultry Farms in Farmerville, La., is recalling approximately 220,450 pounds of fully cooked frozen chicken nuggets that may be contaminated with extraneous blue plastic and black rubber materials, USDA’s Food Safety & Inspection Service has announced.

The fully cooked frozen chicken breast nuggets were produced on Feb. 22, 2016, and March 8, 2016.

Foster Farms products being recalled are 5-pound bags containing “Breast Nuggets — Nugget Shaped Breaded Chicken Breast Patties with Rib Meat”  and 10-pound bulk boxes containing “Fully Cooked Breast Nuggets — Nugget Shaped Chicken Breast Patties with Rib Meat Fritters.”
