Product recalled for possible listeria contamination

WASHINGTON — Sally Sherman Foods of Mount Vernon, N.Y., is recalling approximately 3,004 pounds of various chicken products that may be adulterated with Listeria monocytogenes, USDA’s Food Safety & Inspection Service has announced.

The chicken salad items were produced on various dates between Feb. 2-18, 2016. Recalled products include:

4-pound plastic containers of Sally Sherman Spa Chicken Salad with Greek Yogurt, Chicken Salad All White Meat, Deluxe Chicken Salad All White Meat, Farmcrest Chicken Salad, and Cranberry Walnut Chicken Salad.

The products have establishment number “P-4400” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These. . .
