Poultry produced without import inspection recalled

WASHINGTON — Sunrise Poultry Processors of Alberta, Canada, is recalling approximately 2,705 pounds of poultry products that were not presented at the U.S. point of entry for inspection, USDA’s Food Safety & Inspection Service has announced. Without the benefit of full inspection, a possibility of adverse health consequences exists.

The poultry items were produced on Feb. 2, 2015. Sunrise Poultry products recalled are 40-pound bulk cases of chicken thighs, 25-pound cases of chicken thighs boneless and boneless chicken breast, 2.5-pound cases of chicken whole fryer, 4-pound cases of chicken whole fryer and 3. . .
