WASHINGTON — A group of poultry organizations has submitted comments arguing against the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s (FMCSA) proposed rule mandating the use of Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs).
The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on March 28, 2014.
The group noted that many of their member companies have already installed ELDs in their fleets and enjoy the benefits of the technology including enhanced recordkeeping and other fleet management tools.
