Perdue grant to help promote industry at Rockingham fair

SALISBURY, Md. — Virginia has a rich history in poultry, especially in the Shenandoah Valley. A $15,000 grant funded by the Arthur W. Perdue Foundation will help the Rockingham County Fair Association showcase the historic and economic importance of the poultry industry at its new exhibit building at the fairgrounds in Harrisonburg, Va., the company said.
