Nominations open for AFIA’s Liquid Feed Hall of Fame

Must read

ARLINGTON, Va. — The American Feed Industry Association (AFIA) is accepting nominations for its Liquid Feed Hall of Fame Award through July 30.

“Each year, we look forward to giving this honor to a deserving individual who has worked hard to further the development and use of liquid feed,” said Dr. Paul Davis, AFIA’s director of quality, animal food safety and education. “The liquid feed industry is highly specialized and relatively young compared to the overall industry. As such, it necessitates and creates innovative, pioneering individuals that have contributed greatly, are passionate about liquid feed and should be recognized.”

AFIA will hold its recognition event at the 2021 Liquid Feed Symposium on Sept. 8. Launched in 2019, the award recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to support the growth of the liquid feed industry.

AFIA’s Liquid Feed Committee developed the award in 2003 to recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to the science and growth of the liquid feed industry. To date, 21 individuals have won this award.

Those interested in nominating individuals for the hall of fame award must submit to Paul Davis at pdavis@afia.org a completed nomination form. AFIA will accept nominations until Friday, July 30. For more information on the award, click here.
