BRUSSELS, Belgium — A new organization to represent and promote European live poultry and hatching eggs has been established — the European Live Poultry and Poultry Hatching Egg Association (ELPHA).
The new group was established March 23 in a meeting with founding members of the European associations EPB (poultry breeders), AEH (hatcheries) and EPEXA (traders of hatching eggs and day-old chicks) and the national associations BPC (British Poultry Council), BTT (Hungarian Poultry Product Association) and ZDG (Central German Poultry Organization).
ELPHA intends to represent and promote the common interests of the European live poultry businesses in the policy area of live. . .
