TUCKER, Ga. — A campaign has been launched to establish an endowment fund for the Nelson A. Cox Graduate Student Scholarship in Poultry Food Safety in honor of the late Dr. Nelson Cox.
Having spent more than 50 years as a research microbiologist working with the USDA’s Agricultural Research Service, Dr. Cox was an award-winning research microbiologist who devoted his career to helping protect the safety of the nation’s food supply.
